Located in the heart of Pennsylvania dairy country, Milton S. Hershey founded the world’s first modern chocolate factory in the area. The town was established as a place for employees and families to visit and have fun, and it survives today as one of America’s “model towns.” Milton Hershey not only built a factory in the city, but he also built the community from the ground up. The city currently has a population just under 15,000 people, and it was also designated a Pennsylvania Historical Marker in 2003.

One of the most popular thing for visitors to do is visit Hersheypark. There are plenty of games, attractions, restaurants, and rides for visitors of all ages – there is even a zoo. Naturally, you’ll be able to get your fair share of chocolate and other Hershey products.

For chocolate lovers, Hershey’s Chocolate World has it all. You can visit Hershey’s largest candy store, see the Hershey creation studio, the iconic bakery, and even take a tour of the factory. You can also shop for a range of unique Hershey products that are hard to find anywhere else, including ice cream, milkshakes, coffee, and more.

Want to see a show? Check out the range of events at Hershey Stadium. This massive complex has been used for everything from presidential campaigns to concerts. The Dixie Chicks and Demi Lovato are just some of the famous names that have recently visited. The stadium also hosts local football games, providing fun for everyone.
